Does Air Pollution have a role to play in this? 11:18 - Mar 24 with 1040 views | NotSure | It appears that Covid19 is most prevalent in major cities and industrial regions. That could be just because people there live closer together or because air pollution has weakened the lungs. Just a thought, it's not a scientific fact, I have no evidence to present and I do not wear tin foil hats.

So it could well make people vulnerable to the virus. I wouldn't have thought it would have anything to do with infection rates though.

And you're certainly right that it won't help people with respiratory problems in tackling this virus.

Could there be anything in air full of crap being more difficult for the virus to get through? Is it more likely for a Covid-19 molecule to be 'intercepted' if it bumps into, for example, a carbon monoxide molecule then does the Covid-19 adhere; and then does the carbon monoxide 'take it down', down to the ground? Can Covid-19 live longer if it settles on molecules arising from air pollution? And if the Covid-19 is released near a swamp, this is one for Berni Wrightson aficionados, and a Swamp Thing contracts coronavirus, does this make the creature more or less angry? I hadn't read anything, just a thought. Got to much time on my hands now, too much thinking going on. Scrambling around for positives but if the boffins can find a definitive link then the climate change argument will be on a completely new level. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

So this bug's a freeloader too, eh, hitchhiking its way around the world with no petrol money. Damn millennial bugs.

Viral Surfers from Planet Nine It was a beautiful day, well it wasn't raining, in Aberystwyth. Rhys leaned in to embrace his girlfriend Megan but she stepped away. 'What is it, annwyl?' he exclaimed. 'Oh. bach, I'm feeling feverish and keep getting this dry cough. And I am getting drwg with you looking up Welsh expressions online' 'Not only that, Megan, you've sprouted antennae...'
