Depends how tall they are. Find out what percentile they are on. The shirts are very small compared to most other children's sizes. My son was 6/7 on 75 percentile and he wears a 9/10 shirt and is not huge on him. |  | | |

If it helps for reference, I got my lad the 2-3 year old one of these for his upcoming 1st Birthday.
Granted he's a big boy but I purchased it thinking a larger size would give him room to grow into, it actually fits him better than I'd assumed. [Post edited 9 Jun 2020 11:58]

If it helps for reference, I got my lad the 2-3 year old one of these for his upcoming 1st Birthday.

On the flip side, for both my boys I just buy them the size that they are - they turn 4 and 2 in October and I'll be getting them 4-5 and 2-3 and the sizing has always been fine for them |  |

I don't think there is huge differences in the sizing as it is - my eldest still fits into the shorts which are 6-12 as they are elastic anyway | |
