Corrie Ndaba . 16:42 - Aug 25 with 1209 views | Wickets | I would love to see him given a start in one of these Pre season games as we sort of know what the other centre backs can do .

Given the state of Chambers, Nsiala and Wilson I'd say he's got a better chance of playing every week here if he gets a chance and doesn't waste it!

I wouldn't have thought Lambert will rest all his hopes on a 20 year old and a 21 year old in League 1. Having said that it doesn't cover the fact that Wilson/Chambers/Nsiala will make too many mistakes over a season.

No he won't. But that's not to say Ndaba won't emerge as the best partner to Woolfenden on merit or ability over the course of the season. I'd personally be looking to get in a left sided Centre Half (26-30) who is proven at this level and can play the ball out comfortably. There must be at least one available to us who'd jump at the chance. I think at this stage I'd rather have someone who doesn't read the game as well but has the pace to recover than someone who reads the danger but has no hope of getting there! Corrie Ndaba . on 17:04 - Aug 25 with 1043 views | kizaitfc | Watched him a few times last year and the year before and he is very inconsistent, at times he was the best and most mature player out there. Other games was cocky and got caught dallying on the ball. As said on a post above, I think a decent loan where he can start playing some high quality games like Wolfy did would be great for him

I must admit i have been thinking along those lines myself but i have not seen much of Corrie . I posted on this forum this time last season that we badly need a decent Centre back and got shot down in flames ! dare i say it again .

Yer that sounds good but still leaves us with the problem of who partners Wolfy in the meantime . If Corrie is playing at a higher level maybe he won't be so cocky we will only find out if he plays . 2 Cup games coming up an ideal time to throw him in. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Titus had started just one game for us (18 months earlier) before starting at Spurs in our first game in the Premier League. He did OK....

Much as I feel for Nsiala and I know he has had an absolute shocker at Town. I'm sure he is capable at this level. I think he does need to move on, perhaps he hasn't settled in the area and needs to move back to the North West where he is at home? Of course Bolton didn't go well but was it ever likely to? There are plenty of decent centre backs available on frees this season, it would criminal not to cash in on a decent option who would otherwise not be available
