Names missing today... 16:07 - Aug 29 with 715 views | Terry_Nutkins | chambers, Nsiala, KVY, Bishop, Downes, Dozzell, Edwards, Jackson, Drinnan, Ward, Sears, Skuse. Basically a split squad...but you'd say above by in large closer to 1st team. Poor result today. Dangerous game by Lambert as fans have turned already. He's obviously sticking to a plan of fitness in all the legs. You'd have to say today means those that missed today will mostly start and Lambert was seeing who stepped up today maybe. I guess Wolf likely to still start first game. At a push maybe Norwood as well.. Lankaster and Huws probably bench. Really disappointing way to end pre season but guess it makes no odds and clearly with the team put out it wasn't the main agenda but Lambert has to be disappointed.

Sorry didn't mean to down vote you there Pinewood! That because the photo shoot story was a complete load of bollox put out there by a journalist who should know much better than that, he should be ashamed of himself!

Names missing today... on 17:18 - Aug 29 with 474 views | Wickets | Not disagreeing with the points made by these posts and am not much worried about not winning today . What i find strange and worries me is the simple fact that this is our last pre season match before the season starts for real . Us fans and more importantly PL seem to have little or no idea as to our best side . I for one was hoping that our first eleven would have played together in the last friendly but that has not happend . Most thought the constant chopping and changing last season was a big problem and i for one have seen little to make me think our manager has learnt last seasons lesson . OK early days but i feel the upcoming Cup matches are very important as after such a poor end to last season a good start must be important confidence wise .

I think he probably has a very good idea and even more so now. But if they don't start well he has a big problem.
