Best part is - he ran straight to his bike so he could carry on! I was a bit slower on my 2 tumbles this week. #hardcore #carsareforwimps

Twice in a week! Your a proper cyclist now, train your mind for the golden rule, never let go of the handlebars as you go down, take the blow to the shoulder that doesn't hurt, don't put you arm down to break your fall, it is very easy and very very painful, to break a wrist or collar bone. Keep pedalling, Winter riding is important for improving stamina and pedalling Technique.

Yep. Wed lowsided on the KTM - mud/gravel/leaves on a bend - hit shoulder, hip and ankle. Decent motorbike gear on so nothing more than bruises. Lucky nothing behind me. Yesterday lost it on the MTB coming down hill when I locked my wheel on heavy braking - whacked both elbows but only slighty grazes - had a thick cycling top on fortunately. Thinking I might stick to Alton water on the MTB through winter - roads are slippery as at the minute!
