and if Plymouth hadn't fallen apart and gifted us a way back into the game, we'd be second bottom and only just above them on goal difference.

That is the size of the problem folks. We're barely on course to finish mid table.

We’ve not scored a goal against 11 men in 5 games.

How will 2 further games go this week? A couple of defeats and we’ll be mid table.

I’ve lost count how many times we been on these types of run of form under PL. It happens far too regularly.

I sense by this time next week, we may have a shot of being right down in the thick of it battling for survival

Lambert should’ve gone two to three weeks ago and the fact he’s still here is criminal.

17th? I’m surprised we’re that high.

Yes, just as an exercise, Lambert's record in games against clubs of a similar stature to us as ITFC manager must be utterly awful - if you (for example) discounted games against lower half League One clubs, and say just took the games against top half League One clubs and Championship clubs, he'd have managed maybe 6 or 7 wins over two and a bit years, and at less than a point a game.

The winning runs are the exception. Take them out Lamberts record would probably have us bottom 3/4 in whatever league we were in.

Green shoots and all that though.

Very true. Just glad our owner has his finger on the pulse.

It’s an utter disgrace and actually boarding on negligence.

Mr Evans needs to remember he’s a custodian of the football club, it’s not a plaything.

Tho in reality, exactly the reverse of your second sentence is the case. In the modern football world, owners pay most of the bills - because they have become so huge - and are thus free to play with status, tradition and even existence with little hindrance from boards of worthy local directors, the game's authorities or even fans (until things get really nasty).

Good Lord! Whatever is it?
