We don’t need anymore loan players - when used rightly the loan system can be an extremely useful tool to use. But, for too long it’s been used to plaster over the clubs shortcomings. Unfortunately, when combined with poor signings, as well as poorly performing senior players, it has resulted in free fall.

Ipswich come calling and you have to make a decision on whether or not you allow him to come here. The youngster’s career, both professionally and mentally are your responsibility.

Why do we not give Dobra a chance?
But then again no young striker will really want to play as a loan striker for our club under lambert. Its a backward step which I feel many premier/championship managers will soon learn too and refuse to lend them to us.

Dobra is a very diminutive player, to ask him to lead the line when he is predominantly a number 10 who can operate out wide as well, would be madness in my opinion.
Bare minimum leading the line on your own at this level I like our centre forward to be some form of physical presence. | |
