What you could do is get a length of tubing, cut it up into 1 to 2 inch lengths, so you have a tube per ballon, blow up the ballon through the tube, put some cork or maybe blue tack into the tube, secure the ballon to the tube using very strong elastic bands or maybe sellotape, and do that the night before.
Then in the afternoon carefully take out the cork/blue tack, give all the balloons a little blow to pep them up, remove tape elastic band and tie off.
Viola, you can use your night time to get everything ready, but not have anxiety about droop or sagging the following day.
And, yes, yes I do have too much time between zoom meetings today. |  | | |
