Indeed. I was lucky enough to see big Jack play and also remember that era when he dragged Ireland up by the bootstraps to be a very competitive international team. Very accomplished angler too which I took an interest in.
Sad to see how frail he was in the program last night.

We have no village green, or a shop. It's very, very quiet. I can walk to the pub.

A good, but a very sad watch. He certainly had a lot of charisma, dementia just drains that all away.

The Paul McGrath stuff was all news to me....very McCarthy school of man management I thought.

Excellent documentary, Dementia is such an awful disease, strips the soul from people. I've unfortualey known a few people suffer with this tragic disease and it's heartbreaking to see the decline.

The most astonishing and indeed heart-rending football documentary I have ever seen.
Certainly to Paul McGrath Jack Ch is next to God.

I hadn't really understood how politically and socially important Charlton and his Ireland teams were in the history of the country. I love that the only foreigners to have been given honorary citizenship of the Republic are Mother Teresa, Jack Charlton and his wife.

Was a hell of a player, McGrath, JC was correct when he said that he could have played for anyone.
