Thank you Marcus Evans 11:11 - Apr 7 with 631 views | noggin | Your intentions were honourable but in the end it was not to be. A new chapter in the history of ITFC is about to begin and hopefully some relative success will be forthcoming. Bring on the closed season. COYB.

Thank you Marcus Evans on 11:13 - Apr 7 with 596 views | Marshalls_Mullet | Agreed. For all his failures, I do think he tried his best but fell short. He certainly invested plenty of his own money. Thanks Marcus, and I hope you have judged the new owners accurately. #PENSIONFUNDFC

There's always one, I suppose.

Thank you Marcus Evans on 11:25 - Apr 7 with 450 views | haynes_toe1 | He was an absolute failure and has taken this club to the lowest levels. However, he's likely lost a lot of money on us trying to create success. He had absolutely zero clue about football or how to create a footballing structure. Let's hope these new guys do.

I know you were unique in being quite happy these new owners hadn't taken over, has your view changed? As for Marcus Evans judging them correctly - I'd say his heart would certainly be in the right place but his judgements to date as our owner have been dreadful so a little concerning.
Thank you Marcus Evans on 11:33 - Apr 7 with 383 views | rayman_10 | I don’t feel any hate to Marcus Evans. We’ve seen what happened to Blackpool, Portsmouth, Bury etc. Football has changed so much in the years he has owned us. He chucked a lot of money at Roy Keane and Paul Jewell and by the time that failed we was never gonna challenge financially again. I truly believe he has/had the clubs best intentions at heart. To wipe the club to near debt free is a big thing and one we should all be grateful for. Obviously, a division down and with the worst footballing squad in my memory. But he wasn’t a ‘bad’ owner. He was just useless at making football decisions. I thank him for his efforts and ‘stability’ and he’s let us go to (hopefully) better times. Sorry it didn’t work Marcus. Let’s hope all parties now benefit!

Thank you Marcus Evans on 11:46 - Apr 7 with 346 views | HighgateBlue | Absolutely right. We don't know how much debt has been written off my Marcus, which is shame, but he has clearly put a lot of money in, and has surely tried his best. Some of the comments about him, including still now, are abusive, ungrateful, unfair, and potentially libellous. People calling him dishonest, lying, dodgy, cheating, all the rest of it. People trying to make grand statements with their tuppance for season tickets, when this man has spent 8 figures of his own money keeping the Club afloat is laughable. Good luck to the guy. He flopped badly in terms of certain decisions, but he put a lot into this Club. Having said all that, I hope he's not missed! I hope the new owners put in loads of cash, get to the Prem, and if they fail, don't sell us down the river! Let's see... COYB
