Wireless box just said he has contracted pneumonia and has blood clots on the lung as a consequence of COVID. Sounds properly nasty. Hope he feels a lot better soon.

EDIT: edited out "Not sure you would be able to be sure that is the cause though even if he has recently been vaccinated." as I had misread the original post. Wasn't aware he had contracted Covid.

To be clear - I took it to mean clots from the pneumonia.

C19 causes clotting and you are more likely to get clotting from contracting C19 than taking any vaccine.

Hope he recovers quickly.

A fair few more don't develop brain-injury or run related clots, they get so-called micro-clots in the kidneys which then gunge THEM up and stop them working instead.
