I know Wigan are close to PC's heart but 20:54 - Apr 24 with 780 views

does anyone else think we should have just gone and got Leam Richardson when we got PC in? At the end of the day, PC manages us now, and we are trying to get out of this division, not keep Wigan in it.

We've now missed out, and we're going to have PC trying to form a new relationship with a new number 2. I just can't help but think we missed a trick there. I do get his (their) reasoning, but this is competitive football, not about helping others out.

I would like to see KD in a number 2 role, I guess. If PC has to learn to work with someone else, I think Dyer would be a good shout

I would imagine that, had we attempted to get him at that point, Wigan would simply have offered him the contract then rather than waited. Clearly he would rather be number one there than number two here. The important thing is that Cook gets the right man in to work with him.

I think KD would be a great call. He seems to be spoken well of as an emerging coach, he would fit well with PC’s style of play and of course he has an almost unrivaled connection with us lot (the fans). Sounds like a win/win to me.

Even Klopp or Guardiola wouldn't get a goal from this mob. The final whistle of the Fleetwood game cannot come quick enough.
