He needs runners in order to be able to pick passes, he should stay and play next season with a more dynamic team around him.

AndrÃ© is the new 'barometer' player.

The player by which you can spot that a poster knows about football or not.
Those that do, like him or least appreciate what he's trying to do and why it isn't working for him in a dysfunctional squad that doesn't currently suit his game.

People who don't are forever on the diss.

He needs to play further up the pitch where his vision works. Just in front of the defence doesn’t suit his abilities. Being out muscled in that position can create havoc, Pittman should have buried the resultant chance

He's covered more ground this half than the rest of the season and his crossing has been much better. He isn't beyond criticism.

He's played there all his career, three managers have all played him in the same position yet we always seem to go back to the "he must play further up" possibly based on his physical but we know from players like Pirlo (no comparisons to be made on ability please) that size and stature isn't everything in that position.

He wouldn't be outmuscled much if he had runners where he could release the ball, he's often taking more touches than he would need because nobody really shows for him and that gives the opposition time to get on top of him and hassle him into a mistake.

I also think he would be further forward in a team playing well just because we wouldn't be pinned back as much.
