Sadly I lost my Dad in January so this is my first Fathers Day without him. I didn't want to turn this into a "woe is me thread" as lots of others in the same position I'm sure.

That’s an awful thing to deal with. My dad passed on 10 years ago but I still miss him terribly. It does get easier over time, and you remember/celebrate the good rather than feel a horrendous hole in the core of your being, but still one of the most difficult things and I’ll find myself having a moment now and again where a silent tear creeps intro he corner of my eye and a lump in my throat makes it hard to talk. Like right now. I’m lucky in that I still have an amazing step dad in my life.

I lost my Dad 2 years ago. Miss him dreadfully. Visit his grave every time I pass the Millennium Cemetery. Happy Fathers Day Dad….he was a big Town supporter and filmed scenes on fine camera during the 1960s. One day I’ll clean them up and I will post a link.
