Sancho to Man Utd 22:25 - Jun 30 with 884 viewsgtsb1966

Good bit of business that. Potentially another good 12 years left in the game at the top level so £70m is cheap in today's market.

I wouldn't say it's cheap.

Second most expensive English player ever.

Also, bear in mind an additional 12 years would come at an additional cost of c.£120m+.

Good signing though.

Poll: Would Lambert have acheived better results than Cook if given the same resources

From what I've seen of him that's a totally over the top price.

He's a good player, but as far as I'm concerned you've summed up everything wrong with modern football in 6 words : "£70m is cheap in today's market".

£70m is absolute madness

haha yes £70m can never be regarded as "cheap"

I've not seen a lot of him to be honest but he is still quite young. I thought their priority would be a striker, especially if they end up keeping Lingard.

I wouldn't be too upset if we eventually looked to emulate the Dortmund model, though I guess lots of clubs try. Get the best young players by showing them they'll play and then moving them on when established for big money.

They frequently play 2,3, or 4 players around or under 20 years old.

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

We should get a manager in who’s seen how Dortmund operate at first hand.
