Such a game of two halves Saturday, we were totally dominating first half, especially from the goal onwards.
Second totally dominated, better once Harper came on but we really need to improve on that if we have any aspirations of promotion
So pleased we held on though.

My view was that we could have had another in the first half, from the chances you mention, and there were also chances in the second half, a couple of last ditch blocks and a very good save from the keeper. I thought that, against a Lincoln side that had scored 5 the week before, we were unlikely to get away without giving up a couple of chances but it certainly wasnt us completely under the cash and last ditch defending, despite the fact that they had the lions share of possesion after the break.
I think the fact that they were attacking the opposite end to the Town fans meant that their possesion looked far more dangerous than it was, and Hladky only had 2 long range efforts to save, other than the offside "goal". Town fans obvious nervousness given our poor start was understandable but as the half wore on I didnt think Lincoln looked like scoring. |  | | |

there was also that one nice move that their defender took off Celina's toes just as he was about to pull the trigger. We only had 5 shots all game though. |  |

Think a lot was to with leading and being desperate for a win so we didn’t really push forward much second half. You’d like to think that will be easier now that the monkey is off our back.
Having said that, I don’t think we were totally dominated second half nor were we totally dominating in the first. Lincoln pressured us for the first 20 then we had our purple patch the next 20 and after that we gave Lincoln a lot more of the ball but the pressure never really materialised.
In that sense, doing what we had to do and then stopping Lincoln getting up a head of steam is a pretty promising sign for an aspiring promotion team. |  |

I wouldn't say we were dominated, other than the first 15 minutes. We grew back into it and have certainly had more worrying ends to games this season. |  |
