I think Talbot works as a scout for Fulham. The kid was in an Ipswich shirt.

Yes I was thinking that as a chief scout and assistant director of football - though not sure he's doing that now - he'd be a decent fit here somehow.

He wanted to play for a big London club instead. We have seen it many times, I guess with Talbot at least he made the grade unlike many such as Dozzell, Kiwomya, Wright and co. Their fans don't even remember who they were.

He was In my sisters class at TRSM school and a year above me. Late 60s I'm pretty sure he 'guested' for the Saturday morning team I was playing for over at Bourne Park in a cup game. Our manager in those days had connections to the Town.
