Minimum of 10 points needed.

Even then it's not enough, imo. I said we should be aiming for 13 points from our 6 October games and anything less would be disappointing. 10 points from those fixtures would still leave us a fair bit adrift of where we need to be.

For how long do we keep saying this, or at what stage do we realise Town might be in a relegation battle?

Would give us 20 points from 15 matches. Not great but a slight foundation to build on. Anything less is definitely not enough. Cannot afford to drop below 2 points per game for any sustained spell (5 matches) from now thanks to our poor start.

While 10 points from the next 5 matches looks highly achievable on paper, the 5 after that are going to be more of a challenge. Need to keep up better form no matter who we are up against.

I was all for Cook to go after Bolton. The last 3 matches (before today) have shown some encouraging signs. Not going to swing on one poor result. The jury is still out for me (having been for him to go after Bolton).

If we get fewer than 10 points from the next 5, then I agree. If that is the case, then Cook would have to go. We should not be where we are in the table. I will accept giving him some time to get it working but not any longer than now.

12 points from October.

Crunch time for Cook. Always said end of October enough time to see where we are. He’s allowed this blip today for me, but just has piss all credit in the bank here. If we can’t grind out scrappy battles we’re going nowhere.

I'm so down about about our club I'm not really Cook in or out, but I believe we will do nothing more than mid-table if Cook stays. However even with anew manager we are probably in just as much bother as there are a lot of players here that are only here for Cook, not because they want to play for ITFC in L1...so its pretty depressing really, there is no obvious answer.

This. Was gonna post a thread with the a similar point but could only see it descending into tit for tat in/out nonsense ha.

Taking Morsy as example though, when your most experienced player, club captain and probably highest earner is there pretty much just for the manager, it’s a sticky situation indeed.
