I'd go with achieving play off form by Xmas even if it means we would be ultimately miss out owing to the poor start then keep him for 22/23.

A fairly sizeable proportion of people around a month ago said give him until the end of September and see where we are then. A fair number of those people seem to have lost their nerve. Either that or they have assessed Cook at the end of September and think one point per game is good enough...
