No real threat out wide today 17:33 - Nov 13 with 679 views | Keaneish | Burns and Edwards were poor. Burns and Celina looked like they were on different pitches at times. Really poor from him today and I was surprised he lasted until the 70th minute. I thought Cook bottled taking Evans off for Fraser too. We were too static in the middle of the park today and it needed Fraser’s runs from deep to move them about given they sat in for a point second half. All in all a point is OK. I’d have expected a minimum of 5pts from this Sunderland and Rotherham but despite creating the better chances and being unfortunate, it’s 2pts dropped. Still, the ppg since Cambridge ain’t too shabby at 1.83 ppg.

No real threat out wide today on 17:39 - Nov 13 with 647 views | JDB23 | Evans was not good on the ball but he did do alright breaking the play up, think Cook was afraid of losing that if taking him off. Edwards does not have a left foot, if the defender doesn’t allow him to cut inside then he might as well not even be in possession. Needs massive improvement if he’s to carry on playing that role.

If we take Evans off we lose the quality of our set pieces. Look at his delivery versus Kane’s today! Every time Kane set himself to take the kick I felt completely comfortable we’d deal with them. Saying that, I’d have sacrificed those after 75 mins for some more thrust in that midfield. Celina was man marked all game and aside from Morsy’s trademark drop of the shoulder and run, I thought we looked a bit pedestrian in there at times.

Agree. Was disappointed with Burns. Only went wide once to take on their right back. Seemed to have been told to play more centrally today, not sure why based on what he has shown so far this season.

The trademark drop of the shoulder, run, then turn back again? Half joking.

But today was about proving if we can compete with the form teams in this league, and I think we proved we can. They were hanging on a bit 2nd half. We didn't create enough, but it wasn't far away.

Evans can take a quality free kick or corner. He can also take abysmal ones. He can play a good pass or one straight to an opponent. Can dither in possession and get caught out, or do the right thing under pressure. Basically he's an average third division footballer, no better, no worse.
