Is well reported that whips will collect dirt on MPs and threaten them with exposing them of they vote against those party lines,

Whether Johnson's personal life has anything he'd like kept quiet I have no idea, but is possible Williamson is being rewarded for his loyalty/silence.

I begrudgingly admire how you can be consistently shocking at your job and still have the front to accept a prestigious award without feeling any guilt or shame. Wish I was a little more thick skinned and self-assured!
