French Entry Covid Testing 12:34 - Jan 18 with 904 views | TractorBrew | One for the braintrust of TWTD, which I trust more than any other online source. Especially on cheese matters, and by association French stuff (as the second best producer of cheese) It's as clear as mud if you need a supervised test, or an at home test is fine, to get in to France. Skiing in a couple of weeks, and try to wade my way through the requirements to get in and then do stuff without the French being French...
French Entry Covid Testing on 12:55 - Jan 18 with 816 views | TractorBrew | Yup, obviously I googled it first... I was wondering if anyone had first hand experience or actually knew something though, as the interpretation of that isn't 100% clear. It seems to be self administered is fine, but the outputs are variable on the certificates it seems

I work for the FCDO, hence why I linked to that source with the French Embassy. Cutting through all the verbiage, it needs to be a 'supervised' test but this can be done at home. 'Supervised' has two paths - photo upload of your LFT result and they will send you a certificate, or a nurse observed LFT (via Zoom) where they watch you do it and then send you a certificate. Both are acceptable for travel to France.

If you're off to Italy, presumably you can 'make a donation' to a local 'businessman' and it'll all be taken care of? (Asking for an unvaccinated Serb).

To be absolutely clear, it has to be a private, paid for LFT. Not the NHS one. Look for Fit to Fly or Fit for Travel tests
