As is usual with such labels, he does what he says on the tin. But he does have a point in that, poor as Cook was, he doesn't seem to have been wrong about the deterioration of our standard team even though many kept saying they should have been good enough for top six.

I'd say it does as we moved them all out because they weren't good enough - definitely vindicates the decision imo...
