When you think about it we’re missing key components of McKenna’s preferred spine at the moment, keeper excluded - Edmundson, Evans and Jackson.

Agreed. I think he defended very well, but he didn't really link up much with Thompson. Most times he got the ball, he just passed it back to Woolfy.

Don't disagree entirely but I don't think Jackson can be relied upon to be the top of our spine long term.

The beauty of GE is that he can go both ways. Much like Carroll, Burgess can't.

I wonder if anyone has ever done any kind of study into why left footers are so much more one footed than right footers. At least that's how I see.
