Norwich on the 24th.
You made the podcast?
I believe one of the women in the band is a relative of a twtd'er.

Yeah I made the podcast, rather than the Wet Leg debut.
Is that so? I did not know that. They've had some pretty unfair stick I think, but everything I've seen and heard of them has been excellent. Having this album and the new Fontaines DC record shortly too, is making April look a whole lot better.

No, a TWTDER's mate. The lead singer is the daughter of the mate.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Only stumbled across them in my annual Glastonbury lineup playlist. Wet Leg, Confidence man, Dry Cleaning, & Squid are the picks of the bands I'd never heard of before.

I stumbled across some of them after seeing this thread and having a Wet Leg playlist in the background while working today. Some pretty good stuff amongst that lot. TWTD comes up trumps again.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

I will see them live in November, and I will be going with Rhian Teasdale's dad, who is my mate! Hoping for a bit of backstage access, but not sure they will want two old dudes spoiling the party!

Yep, me. Vicarious fame; it's as close as I will ever get! Apologies for milking it.....

Just back from seeing them at Norwich Art Centre and can confirm that they are indeed excellent live....they still seem to be very much enjoying it!

I'm gutted I missed them at Latitude last year.
Chaise Long hadn't broken and no one had really heard of them.
I think the days of them playing in small venues may be coming to an end.
I think their album is excellent. I wasn't sure if they'd be a bit of a one hit wonder, but the album is really strong.
I think Angelica is my favourite track.

Distortion becomes somehow pure in its wildness.

They are plying the Electric Ballroom tonight but I didn't realise until it had sold out, have got tickets to see them at the Forum later in the year though.

There's definitely a risk that they burn out in 18 months but they are probably smart enough to know that.

Definitely glad to have seen them in a small venue. The tickets were something like £9 each.

Hipster Snob-rock by people who can barely play their instruments and can't sing.

It's awful.
