My wife's waters broke just before they came on for the encore.

"That's me in the corner,
That's me by the Floodlights
Losing my Amniotic fluid"

My question is:

Did they have to buy a ticket for the little one?

And if not, I really hope that they named it either Oliver or Olivia.

Ollie, Ollie, Ollie, Ollie, Ollie
Ollie, Ollie in come free, baby

I went. Christ that was loud.

My missus heard it and we were living up the Crofts at the time.

Fair to say that for any new parents who are used to going to gigs, the birth of their first baby marks the end of their world as they know it.

Mrs didn’t go… she had a ticket to come with me and various friends, but with three weeks to due date, thought better of it and another mate came instead.

Everyone was winding me up saying she’d call to say the baby was coming during the gig, so when she rang bang on cue between the main set and the encore, I didn’t believe her.
She eventually convinced me it was true, but to stay and watch the rest of of the show as the contractions hadn’t started yet and the midwife said not to got to the hospital until they did.

So I watched the rest of the gig , went to the pub after and we went to the hospital the following morning.
