I was very impressed with Ball when he came on. I think Evans is easier to replace than Morsy. However, Morsy and Evans have developed into a very good partnership. We struggled nearly all of last season except for when McKenna first came in. | |

Ball doesn't have the same range of passing as Evans but is better at keeping the ball and doing his defensive duties.
Morsy and Evans have a very good understanding but hopefully Ball and Morsy will get to know each other's game by playing together.
Morsy would be a big miss for a sustaoined period, although when Camara is fit a Ball/Camara partnership would be lethal in this league. Ball holding and Camara driving forward. Wouldn't mind that at all. |  |

The good thing about Ball and Humphreys is they have at least bedded in a bit next to each other in the Pizza Cup

As much as I see Evans being a huge miss and arguably POTY to date , I have total belief in Humphreys coming in for him. It's a bit of the unknown for all concerned I suppose but the glimpses I've seen of him in the Pizza cup he's more than adequate and will work well with Ball as he has previously
That said the sooner we get Camara up to speed to add another dimension the better
The guys in the middle of the park will be fine tonight I've no worries with that side I'm more worried with what's happening up top
I've suported Ladapo for the most and have been quite patient BUT tonight ,if he plays, is a big night.He's got to step up and hold the ball and get back to the hassling ways he had games ago when chasing down defenders....and another League goal would be nice
