I'm still pissed off 11:48 - Oct 30 with 1481 views | gtsb1966 | Amazing what football does to you. Extra hour in bed and a cooked breakfast hasn't cured it. Can't even bring myself to watch the highlights.
I'm still pissed off on 11:54 - Oct 30 with 1432 views | pointofblue | Me neither. It feels like a 4-0 defeat which is ridiculous.

I'm still pissed off on 11:58 - Oct 30 with 1411 views | strikalite | Yep same here, can't watch the goals either, didn't do anything last night I was so pi$$ed off with it, felt like a last minute loss, actually no it feels worse than that...
I'm still pissed off on 12:04 - Oct 30 with 1392 views | LeoMuff | I had a banger of a migraine all night afterwards, dread to think what my blood pressure was.

I'm still pissed off on 12:16 - Oct 30 with 1342 views | J2BLUE | I got over it very quickly. Usually it would piss me off for at least a day but i'm so confidence that this group of players with this manager will get over the line that i'm not too concerned.

If I was that confident I could laugh it off as an insane game which would have been superb for the neutral. Part of me would love to know how Soccer Saturday covered it.

Yes it does. It’s actually worse than losing last minute because we lost two points. Two prescious points. Another poster said on a different thread that this was easier to take given how little time we held that end lead for. I actually think it’s worse. If we’re defending a single goal lead for 70 minutes then I’m almost expecting the inevitable equaliser. I was dancing round the living room, hugging my mate and looking forward to a lovely Saturday evening at 3-2 let alone 4-2. Obviously it hurts more because we’re actually good now. A few years ago I would have probably looked at the score line and laughed. But now we’re at the top, every dropped point will be hard to take (forgotten what it was like to feel like this). But the way we dropped points yesterday, my mood has carried through to Sunday. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I feel like I'm in a healthy relationship for once and trust the guys in charge to identify and work on the faults. Yesterday was almost so ridiculous I can't bring myself to get upset about it. Those are the kinds of games that got us all hooked in the first place.

Exactly. It was the 'so tantalisingly near, yet so horribly far' thing of just 2 (two - TWO!! ffs!) minutes that we had to hang on for, that hurts. It was like watching someone with two hands, then one, then just the tip of one finger, hang on to a cliff edge, before crashing onto the rocks below 10 seconds before a man in black arrives with whistle & rope to rescue them. As I said on different thread, nor can I buy the soothing balm that some are selling about it all not mattering in the end. It might, & some of us prefer to keep our feet planted firmly on the ground about that, but even if it turns out happily not to, I think it's perfectly reasonable to get stressed about the possibility at this point.

Also people treating this as a lesson we’ll learn from when we had been warned three times about this before already. So people will have doubts about us holding onto two goal leads and that will fester into agitation.

And other teams will have watched all the vids, & in future be trying to pile into our box all the more in injury time. [Post edited 30 Oct 2022 13:03]

I'm still pissed off on 13:21 - Oct 30 with 1107 views | TheBoyBlue | Still annoyed and wish we had a game on Tuesday to rectify it ASAP. The only silver-lining is that I'd like to think that the players have learnt from this. Sheffield Wednesday might have previously have been put down as a one-off against another good team, disappointing as that was and of course the fact we won against Port Vale kind of papered over the fact we'd blown another 2 goal lead. this. KM surely won't let it keep happening. This was just such a spectacular and unacceptable collapse against a good, but ordinary team on their knees that hopefully they'll bust an absolute gut to finish games off next time we take the lead in the game and show that we can't afford to give anyone even a chink of hope when we're on top. They've done so well, I'm confident that they will learn from
