The replies below that tweet should be frightening but they are nothing more than what is to be expected.

To try to rescue what was always going to be an absolute fck up the hapless Truss did want Johnson did. Turn belly up and agree to anything the other sign asked for.

Where is the much trumpeted India deal ? Concluded by the end of Diwali we were told*. Much like Trumps immediate bigly US deal - July 2017.

Or the bloaters care package supposedly agreed in July 2019, There wasm't one, it was a lie.

"Eustice damning about Truss' performance as Trade Secretary throughout the deal and Department of Trade more generally.

Bear in mind this is especially wounding given it's one of the only genuinely new post-Brexit deals we've signed. And Eustice was a Brexiter."

Signed, but not ratified. It still has to get through Parliament. And the ONLY one that has done so far is the one with Japan, which left the UK worse off.

So, far from 40 new deals on day one. It is more one deal after over 40 months.

I suspect this mea culpa has more to do with the internal hair pulling and face scratching that is pretty much what passes for politics in the Tory Party these days.

Though it does not say much for the poor gullible righties. To know that as well as the evidence that they were lied to, those pushing brexit now actually admit they were lying.

Useless Eustice's words about doing what Truss required of him, do rather smack of

'I was only obeying orders'

I wonder what the Brexiters excuse will be for campaigning and voting against the UK's interest ?

and the righties bible lied as well

You're forgetting the Rwanda deal.
The UK traffics some of our humans (asylum seekers) to Rwanda and they traffic some of their humans to us.
Cost to UK £120million.

Don't believe a word I say. I'm only kidding. Or am I?

Now, when you put it like that, the fact we have paid that amount and not sent anyone yet surely that’s….no…that’s…umm….no…it really doesn’t make it sound good at all.

Look over there, 8 million and British coppers embedded in France, helping on the beaches. Result.
