Dare is indeed a great album. I do however prefer the earlier version of Human League with Ware and Craig-Marsh.
Fair shout tbh
But while we are here let's go for it.
Even if just one person listens to it I've made a positive influence today - which makes a change I hear you say.
Footnote edit - Talking about Martyn Ware - I saw Heaven 17 a couple of years ago supporting Squeeze and they blew Squeeze away - but the bastards didn't play Sunset Now.

Sound of the crowd will always be my top song from that album. Don't you want me kind of annoys me in a way because it's the lazy, default go to Human League song at a disco.

I'm actually listening to Sound of the Crowd right now - well I was but it's just finished and Darkness has just come on.
Don't you Want me - I feel the same way about Dark side of the Moon
Gotta say though, that Christmas when it came out is one of my best music / life memories ever.
It sort of all went downhill after that.

Absolutely love Kraftwerk baby.
I love most of the stuff that came out of Germany from the early 70s.
Especially these. Bowie was a huge fan. The original Ultravox line up used the exclamation mark. This song hugely inspired the opening to Love Will Tear us apart.

Dalai Farmer asked me quite out of the blue once
" Name me a better tune than Love will tear us apart"
I struggled
