How do Forest Green despite being at home get coverage 12:35 - Nov 26 with 1124 viewsbournemouthblue

but surely Town versus Buxton is a bigger David versus Goliath tie

I can only assume they feel Forest Green are more beatable?

Can only think it’s because Alvechurch are the lowest ranked team left in the cup ?

Your assessment is probably right.
We gave very little to Bracknell last round so I think the TV companies think we'll shut out the underdog again.
Our performance against Bracknell was very similar to most England games where they suck all the excitement and enjoyment from a game 'cos it's always about the result.
It's not Christmas yet so no need to give presents (goals) away.
We must be super mean tomorrow.

Don't believe a word I say. I'm only kidding. Or am I?

That's possible as well, Forest Green aren't really a giant, no offence to them

They're a very well run conference size club currently punching above their weight

A lot of these lower league teams were probably playing them, not so long ago

It's a relatively local fixture between two large villages. An interesting tie.

Because FGR fit the BBC narrative.
As can be seen by the half time interviews.
"A really progressive club both on and off the pitch."
Progressing down to League Two.
Oh dear.
