We're having an absolute shocker with injuries 17:55 - Nov 12 with 1756 viewsN2_Blue

We've not had much luck this season during games or with injures.

It seems we are not destined to have a comfortable time of it. Just as things appear to be coming together for a first successful season in 20 years it now seems that we are going to be severely tested by injuries.

To have had serious or long term injuries to: Ball, Evans, Aluko, John Jules, Leigh, Burgess, Adhame is pretty frustrating.

Just waiting for Davis to get crocked and then we really are in the sh*t.

Can someone fill in the question marks over how long these players are out for:
Ball: season over
Evans: Feb/Mar?
Aluko: season over?
John Jules: "months not weks"
Leigh: January earliest
Burgess: now fit
Ahadme: ?

Poll: Should we go for it in the January transfer window?

How long have Tb12 been involved? I asked which no one could really find the answer for. But are we the first UK football club to partner with them, because most don't believe you can treat footballers the same as American footballers..

a niche perspective

TBH I don't think they bring much more to the table, their."5 Pillars" are hardly rocket science. The injuries are mostly contact ones. Though so many joint injuries are bad luck,as they take longer than most fractures.

Aluko could be back early in the new year
Ahadme is expected to start training next week
The rest look about right.

We have space for three more senior players in the squad, assuming we de-register Ball in January.

Looks like our backroom team are doing amazingly: Aluko and Evans back soon, Leigh already back. Pitt about TJJ, but a new loan in January and maybe a forward on permanent. COYB

We are definitely targeted for cynical and clandestine fouling, Sheffield Wed and Portsmouth spring to mind. Article in Portsmouth press last week celebrating Harness out injured for months. Most lge 1 Referees have no clue what's going on.

But do we bring in too many players who can't take a tackle? I know we are recruiting players who can play in the next league up, but to go up we have to be harder. Get in the 4th official's ear just as much as the Cowleys.

Or Pompey may go up ahead of us in spite of finances low relative to ours.
