Not to shine a negative light but we’ve got Australia this summer, it’s just a ridiculous road of a pitch, no test. Hope it starts doing something later on or it’ll be something like 1009 for 8 dec twice. Really need some challenges between now and the ashes. |  |

yes, it was a road, but already some balls keeping a bit low. be interesting to see how it plays by the end of tomorrow. Advantage of course of getting the runs this quickly, means that there is more time to take 20 wickets.... whether that is possible with our attack on this pitch remains to be seen.
I also don't think this is indicative of how we'll do against Australian bowling attack on English wickets, but it can't help but be good for confidence for these guys to be making runs. | |
