Ive just seen that google pixel phones are going to provide a vpn as long as us you their google one app. It looks like that costs about £1.50 a month. I assume that is cheaper than most vpn providers?

Yeah, that's cheaper. I use CyberGhost and it's about £4-5 a month (can't remember exactly). These companies have all sorts of deals so you could probably pick up something for £3/month on a long-term deal. |  |

It’s a bit like comparing a Mini to a Ferrari they are both cars, but, they will do it in different ways, I used SurfShark around 40€ for two years, found it not to my liking doing what I do with it, but have found Nord a lot better.

I use Express VPN which seems to work brilliantly it does cost a bit I think I currently pay about a tenner for mine. I did on sign up for an initial 18 month contract for about £30 quid if I remember correctly but that was a long while back. |  | | |

Yeah, it was thanks. I know I'm tracked despite endlessly rejecting cookies, so the thought of getting a VPN from google just feels antithetical to me. | |

I've got the Pixel 7Pro
the VPN just activated with the latest update -
you cannot change location.
so it is great for: keeping things private
it is bad for: spoofing (changing location) so it would be TERRIBLE for iFollow (if that was your aim) |  | | |

Signed up for Nord for 24 months. Think it works out at around 2 quid a month so pennies really.
Only thing is I keep hearing how good others are like Express and may try them next as increasingly locations seem to be getting blocked. It's still fine as you learn as you go along which to use and I assume that's going to be something that's problematic with most servers [?]
