It’s a horrible, inaccessible and poorly maintained and laid out ground.
I had the displeasure of sitting in the home stand, a stand that had freezing cold water dripping into certain seats, frozen toilets, flooded concourse and one hugely understaffed and crap food outlet
The locals revelled in the sh!thousery, had a song saying how good they are at wasting time… there coaching team were actively encouraged time wasting
And sadly we turned up with 3 or 4 players, playing 5 out of 10, Chaplin the worst culprit
We have to get out… BUT… and it’s a big BUT teams like Wycombe aren’t rubbish… they are very good at what they do. And they make it very very hard to get out of this league
Our players need to give more energy and intent… we have to go early and score first
There’s no room for a poor run now… have faith in the project, McKenna has got this, but it is not going to be a cake walk… teams are learning how to close us down |  |

It is not implausible that we finish top two and Wycombe get promoted through the play-offs so even getting promoted does not guarantee we would never visit there again.
However, the higher level we play at, the fewer teams there are that will be based on this style. As you say, they are very good at what they do. And they make it very very hard to get out of this league. The key is winning more of these type of matches than we fail to. Up until this season we weren't. So far this season, we have been. We won't win them all but we need to win most of them. |  |
