Ipswich Town Players 2022/23 ðŸ† Quiz 12:59 - May 8 with 2079 views

Following our last game of the season, I’ve put together this quiz on every player that featured for Town in at least one competitive match during the 22/23 campaign. This includes any starts and/or substitute appearances across League One, the FA Cup, the League Cup and the Trophy. Four members of the squad who were named on the bench at least once but never played any minutes are listed but greyed out. Goalkeepers are denoted by their squad numbers being shown in green.

There are 11 minutes to try and get all 37 answers. Surnames are sufficient. Please do let me know if you think the time limit needs amending and if you think any alternative spellings of players’ names should be accepted.

I scored 27 and I'd say there's only one I missed who was a semi-regular that I should have got. The rest were either loaned out or youngsters

I remembered all the youngsters and forgot [regular member of the starting XI - redacted]. What a numpty.

Thanks very much for pointing this out. I did think of his name when putting the quiz together but I somehow didn’t include him - I should have been more thorough. Apologies to anybody who tried him as an answer and didn’t get a point!

The website reset the scores when I updated the quiz to include the additional player I’d forgotten but, after another 70 takes, there is still that one name that has been guessed correctly 100% of the time.

It’s interesting seeing the percentages and how people’s minds work. I think having the squad numbers listed and also knowing which ones are goalkeepers is helpful to jog the memory. Those who haven’t featured for a while are understandably lower down, and of course the youngsters who barely played are at the bottom.

There are one or two on there that I’d forgotten had made an appearance for us this season.
