Purely hypothetical but…….. 20:11 - Jan 16 with 1687 viewsWestSussexBlue

Just say we are still battling it out for Second spot come the last game, Plymouths’s last few fixtures look very favourable for them but I’ve just seen Sheffield Wednesday play Derby.
Someone’s going to drop points there potentially leaving the door open.

Last time Derby helped us fall into a playoff spot it didn’t really work out well

We’ll be good again... one day

They could be taking points off Wednesday or even vice versa as we win 3-0 at Fleetwood to book our way out of the league.

Given where we are now, if we're within three points of 2nd place following our away games at Barnsley Derby, I would be reasonably content. We have a relatively favourable run of fixtures after that.

At home against Wednesday on 11 Feb of course looks like the biggy...

Plymouth's last few fixtures look very favourable.

Cambridge and Burton may well be fighting to stay up and there is no reason why Port Vale away is an easy one.

Ultimately we just need to get enough points ourselves.

From a fans standpoint Fleetwood away is a far from ideal last fixture of the season. Hopefully Sky will cover it on whatever day it takes place.

In a way I’m glad as things are currently that we are away on the last day. If we need a win or a point to secure Second place the pressure would be huge on players and fans alike.
Can you just imagine Wednesday have beaten Derby 1-0 but as it stands we are going up courtesy of leading Fleetwood at PR by 2-1 then as it’s all getting really tense in the crowd and in the 95th minute…….they equalise😳😳😳😳😳😳

Sky always cover the matches that have something riding on them.
