Whilst that is undoubtedly chilly, it's positively tropical compared to some of the temperatures recently in the USA.

A Cleveland Browns game took place in temperatures colder than the South Pole, and games at Buffalo, New England and Green Bay always look a bit painful to watch.

Met office saying +4 to start +3 to finish, hardly tropical but not so chilly...

If you're ever in Stockholm in winter, go and watch Hammarby play bandy against one of the small towns and villages from further north that make up the league. Take a flask. Expect to see nothing. (The rink is very big, the ball is very small.)

This is from the rules:

C4.4 Very low temperatures that might lead to frost-bite are considered as unfavourable weather conditions. In principle temperatures down to minus 25 degrees Celsius may be endurable if there is no wind and low humidity. In humid air and a slight wind temperatures down to 17 degrees Celsius might be endured.
If a match is played at a very low temperature, the referee can stop the game for 5 to 10 minutes to give the players a chance to warm up.

Also says MIST from around 10pm.

The thing about weather forecasts is if you don’t like the first one you read keep looking and you are sure to see what you want.

I like that 'Very low temperatures that might lead to frost-bite are considered as unfavourable weather conditions.'

If only the FA had a rule that said something like 'A fog such that the referee cannot see the fckng rule book, let alone the other side of the pitch is deemed to be somewhat sub-optimal, and the game ought to be abandoned and replayed.' Or something.

Sheffield Wednesday game has been called off (at Cheltnam)

Chance to close the gap to 4 points. Plymouth and us are their next games in the league.
