I still coach young kids that its the non strikers call behind square but once you get to a decent standard the best view around square and behind is off the bat. Brook probably could have sent him back but trusted the senior partners call....might not be quite so keen to in the future. | |

I never felt confident with Jimmy there.
Broad is a shadow of the player he once was, does he work on his batting at all any more? He looks like a number 11 nowadays, he is far better than this cowardly backing away and flailing.
Foakes did a great job and generally controlled the pull shot well, sadly perhaps going for glory, he got sucked into one pull too many
Wagner isn't the quickest but his short stuff is obviously very tricky, perhaps Sam Curran will be doing a similar job like that for us in the future, you never know. |  |
