A one nil win… 17:13 - Feb 25 with 1134 viewschicoazul

….is hopefully, exactly what this team needs to reinforce it’s’ fragile confidence when leading by one goal. Shows them they can indeed defend a lead against a robust lower orders opponent.

We won without conceding for the second straight game. Ok before anyone says it, the opposition wasn’t the strongest. But who cares. Two wins, five goals for zero against.

You can only beat what’s in front if you and all our opponents are fit, professional footballers, usually well organised and playing for their careers.

Well done KM, coaches and players after the inevitable criticism you’ve had for recent months underperformances.

For where we truly are and what we are looking to do, see Matt Holland’s interview with McKenna and Ashton this week.

We haven't done it against weaker teams enough this season. So to do it against the weaker teams is the improvement we need. You'd expect a Sheff Wed to score one a game, as they should expect us to score one a game. So particularly a game like this, where 1-0 is where we needed a clean sheet for 3 points, it is excellent to see again.

3pts on the road, is 3pts on the road.. Good result, if not the prettiest performance... And I know KM played down the pitch condition, pre match. But, imo, watching on the telly, it didn't lend itself to our usual, slick passing moves.. For those screaming for a plan B. I think we had one today, of sorts, at times..Passing long ,quite often, rather than getting stuck in the glue pot, is how it looked to me... Fare play to the lads. Professional "job done".

Mr McKenna appears to agree with you too. It wasn't a particularly easy watch at times, but we were good enough to get it done which needs to be our mentality for the rest of the season.

The pitch might not have been the best & fortunately the second half performance was way better than the lack lustre first. McKenna made the obvious substitution - Luongo for Humphreys - & Town started the second half firmly on the front foot, probably after a rollocking. If Broadhead had converted his sitter, it would probably have been more comfortable but MK only looked like scoring from a free kick. Back to back wins for the forst time in the League since October & 2 home games coming up against weak opposition, although Burton have been doing a bit better lately. 6 points & the table might look more interesting, with Plymouth stuttering.

Loving it's' Chico...that's' a hole lot of indecision that can't' be blamed on spell checker.
Agree with the sentiment though!
