Clash of the Titans was always my favourite of his when I was a child. However, EVTFS is pretty hokey. But everyone has to start somewhere!

I've seen the movie many times and although I laugh at some of the low-budget effects I'm quite protective of it when it comes to criticism. Would The Outer limits and Twilight Zone have happened without this movie? Probably not.

I love sci-fi movies from the 50s! X- The Unknown, Thing from Another World, Them etc. My wife doesn't get how I can watch them over and over again.

There are so many events in these movies which last 10 seconds - no more than that - but they appear as themes or even plots in later movies. They have proved to be an inspiration for later generations. As for visible strings on the flying saucers in EVTFS I give you Thunderbirds.

Some British based Sci-fi fans will tell you that whatever you do "Don't Blink". I say, "Anything can happen in the next half-hour".

EVTFS was released 1956. Plan 9 from Outer Space was released in 1957. Those were the release dates so there is probably a conversation to be had about who came first. Ed Wood had real problems in getting people to fund his projects so who knows when he started Plan 9.
