Is there a better example of “failing upwards” on 07:10 - Apr 6 with 819 views | Churchman | Big name innit. Frank Lampard’s Everton. Whoopee. That went well. Frank Lampard’s Chelsea. Sacked. Still a big name, let’s get him in. Why?? 44 years old now and finished playing at the top level 8 years ago. What’s he done to earn another crack at Chelsea? If it’s temporary the might as well have left Potter there - unless the players have forced the decision. It all seems a bit desperate to me, but then jobs continually fall for big names however rubbish they are. Surprised they’ve not approached Roy boilerman Keane.

Apparently Keane gets multiple job offers each season in the UK and abroad but has decided he likes being a meme and the easy Sky and ITV money that comes with it.
