BUT, my two spies at the Orient end of season dinner did catch up with at length, after beers, the summary is he definitely doesn’t expect to be coming back to Orient next season, and sees himself as a Town player” now that doesn’t 100% mean he won’t not go out on loan, nor back to Orient. But that’s what he’s been saying.
El Miz never had a bad game in a Town shirt, he’s clearly developed a lot this season. And he’s only 22. And I’m convinced they’ll take a good look at him this preseason.
Can he challenge for a central midfield place against Morsy, Luongo, ball, evans, Humphreys. Time will tell, but he’s got energy, age, a bit of pace, and good passing and box to box on his side. I still think we’ll make 3 marquee signings this summer - centre back, central midfield and centre forward. That may influence our young Tunisians fate - certainly a larger league one club at the very least will be the minimum. |  |

Indeed. Player trading is also a large part of the business model and we have seen little of it from an income perspective so far. Developing youngsters via the loan system and then cashing in on them has to be part of the process. | |

Decent as in ok, not bad, a little good?
Sounds like he’s had a stellar season, an unrivalled loan success that we’ve never seen the likes of before.
I always though he had big potential, just needed strength and experience, and at 22 following full competitive and successful season, he should be ready. I really hope he is given the opportunity at Town next year, might not be starting XI in league games from August but as great option from subs bench and cup starter.
Either a new long term contract by Christmas, or sufficient info to let him move on and have a career elsewhere. |  | | |

Think it'll be what he can show in pre season when hes back amongst the Town squad. Maybe the qualities required of a Championship MF are different to those of a League One, and the likes of Humphries, Camara, Idris may become more desirable than the battling qualities of Evans/Luongo / Morsy ? I'm not for one minute saying the latter will be dispended with, because they clearly wont . But maybe these younger, more creative MF'ers might be more appropriate in the Championship? |  |

Looking positively and he keep progressing. Even if he needs another year loan in L1 then can come back and step up with us that’s better. Our only danger for the younger players is we can’t give them enough minutes to make the progression unless they are brilliant. Even Humphries will continue needing games to build strength and knowledge of the game. If El Miz is ready to get involved in rotation in the Champ then that’s fantastic for us, he got the kind of attributes we’d want it’s whether he’s ready. |  |

Yeah, I'd hope we'd get him out on loan to an upper end L1 team for 6 months if his face doesn't fit in with the squad at the start of next season. Definitely some potential there, and don't think he's looked out of place when he has been in the team. | | | |
