Cheers Sitters - so sounds like £46k for season, 8 people, let’s say £6k each. If TWTD towers can fund £45k with their extra revenue from footfall then I reckon we could have a TWTD box for the year, most uppies each week gets the seats.

More like £22- 24k+vat for next season. There’s 12 spaces in all the boxes except the one the club uses itself for ad-hoc (usually match day sponsors etc) If we get in to the premier they will be in excess of £40k+Vat Don’t think the 3 new ones will be ready any time before the new season and potentially not until next year. Decent waiting list for them. The Cobbold boxes hold 8 and about half the price of above. Includes only the box (not food/drink etc)

Surely you take your own food in from the wagon on the corner of Portman Road and Sir Alf Ramsey Way don't you? And a couple of bottles of pop from Lidl.

Just one more reason the Cobbold needs redeveloping. Yes it's been a great asset, but technology for the building of stands have come a long way since 1970. Boost the capacity to minimum 35,000 and put new boxes in. Maybe not just yet as we have a long way to go before we have a team capable of holding it's own in the Prem. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

It’s a fair point well made. There’s no waiting lists for Cobbold boxes…..
