Now..our attendances this season have been fantastic 19:11 - May 7 with 1943 views | homer_123 | but....just take a quick look at the National League attendances for the season. In short....all teams have over 1200 as an 'average' with 8 clubs seeing ovrr 5k and 2 clubs seeing over 10k as their highest. That's non league football peeps.

Now..our attendances this season have been fantastic on 00:54 - May 8 with 1616 views | bournemouthblue | Wrexham who I suspect will be in League One before too long are building a new Kop End which I assume takes them towards about 14 - 17kish They'll have reasonably competitive crowds by League One level, it's going to be an interesting ride for them

Now..our attendances this season have been fantastic on 16:15 - May 10 with 1176 views | Sharkey | I was surprised you had eight clubs over 5k. (I tried to think of them.) These figures are from slightly before the end of the season, but I think there were six clubs a bit bigger than the rest: https://www.worldfootball.net/attendance/eng-national-league-2022-2023/1/ But anyway, you're right that it's impressive. Rochdale finished the season strongly, so I hope they'll get good gates next season, and Hartlepool too. p.s. Oxford City playing Saint Albans for promotion to the National League. (Oxford United had three seasons in the National league not SO long ago.) Seems strange that a city of that size can produce a second team so strong, but Cambridge have done similar in the past, so maybe it's a university thing. Peterborough Sports is another interesting one. [Post edited 10 May 2023 17:06]

In terms of places with two teams which directly hinder them having a really big or bigger clubs Sheffield Nottingham Bristol Stoke Bradford did have two clubs Stoke is probably the one which makes little sense, obviously there are historical reasons for more than one club, I do appreciate this

I'm not a native of Stoke but I think I'm correct that only outsiders see it as one place whereas the locals view it as a collection of towns.
