What are the chances of Boris and Trump both getting convicted ? on 10:39 - May 25 with 1004 views | EdwardStone | I am thoroughly enjoying Johnson's indignation at having the current set of lockdown breaches investigated. He is a proven liar and yet he wants us to take his word that all guidelines and regulations were complied with at his various "gatherings" at Chequers. My next wish is that his legal aid becomes Means Tested....

Of course, Trump and Boris don't actually believe in most of their political values - they just like being where the easy votes are.

I dunno, both Boris and Trump have been bigoted, corrupt and criminally inclined narcissists for decades now. [Post edited 25 May 2023 12:45]

Yep, anyone not put off by those two charlatans' actions by now is never going to be put off by anything. As Trump said (paraphrasing) "I could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue in broad daylight and not lose voters". | | | | Login to get fewer ads

And I think the fine is date reliant. I'm reasonably sure in this country fixed penalty notices have a 3 year limit, i.e., if it happened over 3 years ago (and there is talk this happened in early 2020) then the police cannot issue a fixed penalty notice.
