That was a really decent away trip despite the early kick off and rail disruption. A comfortable win, even if the penalty shout Exeter had at 2-0 had more to it than some we saw given against us this season.
I thought at the time that this match had got as past any hangover from Charlton and that Harness's goal (after a good performance) might just get his season going; that injury was really unfortunate for him.

I'd forgotten until watching that it was on Sky
I seem to remember Sky made a big thing of the penalty not being given
This was an important win after the Charlton away debacle and the Cheltenham 1-1 at home.
I thought we looked strong and very professional in this away match. Players throughout the team were on their game, and I think I remember Exeter fans commenting we were another level.
I think the game showed we had that extra gear, that other level that we eventually clicked into for the final amazing run of results to automatic.
But we did wobble in subsequent games at home to Fleetwood and away at Wycombe. Which I’m sure you’ll be posting soon.
Harness played well in this game, second only to MOTM Burgess in the player ratings. Reminds you of his capability.
A goal and an assist for Harness, both with his head. He contributed a lot in the first half of the season, it was a shame he got injured and of course Broadhead was so good since joining that he was undroppable.
I watched this on SKY I think, I remember being quite impressed with their number 2 Caprice.

Great away day. Really impressive performance where we never looked like losing or conceding. Met a fair few of the SW branch that day, and my lads got to meet and have pics with all the Town players, superb.
