Humans, pets and domesticated livestock make up 96% of all mammals

thats a weirdly odd and somewhat scary stat if true

I think, but I am not 100% on this, that the phrase isn’t from pigs.

According to this measure 34% of mammals are humans and 62% are livestock, leaving the 4% to include elephants and, say, the estimated 7 billion rats and 20 billion mice.

I'm not sure about that, but I think the original statistics were designed to indicate the climate impact of man and livestock.
