Given that McKenna is likely to want to take several of them with him if/when he moves on this has just increased the overall compensation package that Town would get quite significantly. That probably puts him out of reach of a number of clubs who might have been interested.

Possibly, although I doubt the compensation attached to his staff is particularly big or decision changing if a club did want to come in.
