Outstanding, gusty performance 17:49 - Oct 7 with 1242 views | ArnieM | Against a good PNE team. But Just before half time PNE were not even on the same planet us and we could easily have gone in 5 goals up. Unusually we actually looked lethargic at the start of the 2nd half (PNE had also picked up their own game), and thinking about it on the way home I wonder if our fantastic high intensity throughout games and the Sat, Tues, Sat games have started to drain our energy levels. That together with the very hot weather today (not ya typical October weather is it!), so possibly the hydration levels in the players may have dipped. But Again KM gets it right, with the subs coming on 10 mins earlier than normal and it made the difference didnt it. Stand out players for me , Williams by a country mile. I love his physicality and his show of emotion to rev the crowd up in the SBR corner was just what the crowd need to jolt it into increased vocal effort. I think we were all nervous and it’s really hard to raise s song when your throat is like sand paper . But so many great performances out there today . We’re just a bloody good team / squad 👍 COYBS

Outstanding, gusty performance on 18:09 - Oct 7 with 1101 views | Kropotkin123 | Hard to tell. They made a triple substitution and replaced someone after 25mins. So you'd expect 4 players to have a fitness impact. I think we also came out to contain them in the first 15mins of the second half, which didn't tally well with their triple substitution. Leif has also had two injuries, which impacts. We were tearing them up for fitness after the changes up front. And Williams was burning them all game. Either way, I think the international break comes at a good time for certain player's fitness.

Outstanding, gusty performance on 18:27 - Oct 7 with 968 views | Rozz | Westlake on comms actually commented that several ITFC players were hands-on-knees in the first half when we were on top due to the intensity of our play. He also called for subs after 10 or 15 mins of the second half. They had changed formation and it was a much tighter match, but we looked leggy. All 5 subs combining to score the 4th goal btw is absolute poetry. Glad for a break now, resting easy on an 8 point cushion. [Post edited 7 Oct 2023 18:28]
